Refresher HEAT Course (RE-HEAT)

RE-HEAT is a two day course designed to refresh knowledge and skills originally learned on the 4 Day Clarity Course “Personal Security for Field Staff” aka HEAT.

There is also the opportunity to extend your RE-HEAT course to 3 days and participate in the HEAT Simulation Exercise. Please see seperate course listings to book this option.

RE-HEAT will cover the following topics:

• First Aid/Trauma –The complete package of training as on the full HEAT course.
• Personal Security - Including Personal Risk Assessment, Kidnap Survival, Sexual Violence
• In Extremis Survival – Conflict Survival, Civil Disorder and Natural Disasters
• Field Security – Field Communications, Vehicles and Security

RE-HEAT Cost

• 2 Day RE-HEAT - £640 + VAT

(includes food and accommodation for 1 night)

• 3 Day RE-HEAT including 1 Day Simulation Exercise – £790 +VAT

(includes food and accommodation for 2 nights)

RE-HEAT Eligibility

RE-HEAT is open to those who have completed a Clarity 4 Day Personal Security for Field Staff Course in the last 3 years (common sense flexibility will be applied to this rule on a case by case basis).

It is recommended that after completing one RE-HEAT returning participants retake the full 4 day course.
